    $ cat current | tai64nlocal |grep username@yahoo.com

    result :

    2007-12-29 08:57:51.942276500 starting delivery 41246: msg 1547115 to remote username@yahoo.com

    :(( still deferred….. i guess i just have to wait for the result of the form submission above….. to be continued……… πŸ™‚

    10. i’ve been browsing again and found this article that convinced me that i’m not the only one

    http://www.ahfx.net/weblog/107

    11. i’ve checked my inbox and found a reply from yahoo saying :

    12. i checked my inbox today (january 2, 2008) and found a reply from yahoo dated December 31, 2007 4:50 am. the reply message is not satisfying at all…. there are 3 links to follow up. i’d already visited 2 of them the other day. 1 link is to fill another form, it’s a Yahoo! Mail Whitelist Form the link is :

    http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/yahoomail/postmaster/bulk.html

    i’ll try to fill the form later.

    13. i checked my inbox at yahoo to see wheter my mail from the deferred server arrived or not. it was there πŸ™‚ …. finnally. so my conclusion so far is :
    mail will be accepted by yahoo after some period of time. here’s the log on the defered server for the accepted mail :

    $ cat @4000000047749e380e26eeb4.s| tai64nlocal | grep 40716
    2007-12-28 10:47:20.584753500 starting delivery 40716: msg 1547033 to remote username@yahoo.com
    2007-12-28 10:47:25.190973500 delivery 40716: success: 66.196.97.250_accepted_message./Remote_host_said:_250_ok_dirdel/

    i sent the mail at 08:57:51 and finally accepted by yahoo at 10:47:25. so my mail server had to keep trying to send the mail for about 2 hours before it finally accepted by yahoo server. i think it’s not good…. πŸ™
